“When we decided to have our work Christmas party at Exeter Castle last December, we knew it was going to be good – but we had no idea just how amazing it would be. Thanks to Leonie from Azure Weddings and Events, it turned out to be one of the best events we have ever had.
Right from the moment we arrived, it felt special. Exeter Castle looked absolutely stunning, especially with the beautiful lighting. The whole place had this warm, festive glow that made you want to start celebrating straight away.
There were about one hundred of us there, and everything ran so smoothly. We sat down to a proper dinner that was absolutely delicious, and the tables looked gorgeous. You could really see the thought that had gone into every little detail. There were Christmas crackers and party poppers at each place setting, and everyone got a personalised box to take home. Inside were sweets (with our CEO’s face on them, which got plenty of laughs), balloons, more party poppers, and a few other little surprises. It was such a fun touch and made the night feel even more personal.
One of the biggest hits of the night was the photo booth. It came with loads of props and wigs, and honestly, it was hilarious seeing everyone get stuck in. It gave us some brilliant memories – and even better photos.
The entertainment was spot on too. There was an aerial hoop dancer who absolutely wowed everyone with her performance. Later on, the live band got the party going and even stayed on while some of our colleagues got up to sing karaoke. It was all good fun, and the energy just kept building.
The bar had special Christmas cocktails, which added a bit of extra sparkle, and there were tasty snacks being passed around all night. The dance floor was packed as soon as the music started, and it stayed that way right until the end.
Leonie thought of absolutely everything. She made sure the whole evening felt easy and relaxed for all of us, so we could just enjoy ourselves without a care in the world.
If you are thinking about planning a corporate event (or any event, really), I cannot recommend Azure Weddings and Events enough. Leonie is brilliant – she made our night unforgettable, and I am already hoping we get to work with her again.”
